The transition condescending on me,
The fact it wasn't a city no more
I waded into the heart of green
Feeling cheerfulness in a way I had not recognized before
The hills greeted one with glorious majesty.
And the green soothened the eyes
Fields of paddy so green as far as the eye could see,
melted the melancholy of the soul
The lone crane carrying the pride of ownership of the lands
Reminded one of the respect held for an ecosystem
Life so light yet so full
Greeted me with a symphony from of old..
And all that in me resounded home.
